Our responsibilities.

Information we handle

The information available to an assistant depends on its configuration, the permissions you authorize, and the tasks you request. It may include:

• Google account and authorization information: account identifiers, email address, granted permissions, and access or refresh tokens used to maintain the connection.
• Google service data: relevant Gmail messages and attachments, Calendar events, Drive files and metadata, Docs content, or Sheets content. Access and editing depend on the specific permissions granted.
• Conversation and task data: your messages, chat identifiers, relevant context, tool requests and results, and generated responses. Conversations, assistant memory, and operational or troubleshooting logs may contain this information, including Google-derived content.
• Support and technical information: correspondence you send us and operational information needed to run, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

Not every bot uses every Google service. The relevant user-facing disclosure and Google permission screen identify the access requested for your connection.

How information is used and shared

We use information to perform the assistant tasks you request, maintain authorized connections and relevant conversational context, respond to support requests, and operate and protect the service. Google data is limited to the specific user-facing services you authorize; it is not available for unrelated business purposes.

The cloud model provider you have authorized for your AI assistant may process prompts, relevant task data, and context to generate responses and support assistant tasks. This can include Google content needed for your request. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process or store service data as part of operating the service.

Discord or the applicable chat integration carries your requests and responses. Content delivered to a conversation may be visible to its configured audience, including other group members. Check that audience before requesting private information. A private or invitation-only bot does not make every exchange a one-person conversation.

Operator access to service data is limited to what is needed for permitted operation, support, security, or legal requirements. Human access to Google data is subject to the Limited Use restrictions below; it is not unrestricted access for general review. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to address abuse or security threats, subject to applicable law and Google’s restrictions.

Google data: limited use, no sale, no training

SilverTree Assistant’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We use Google data only to provide or improve the specific user-facing assistant features you authorize. Transfers are limited to what is necessary for those features or otherwise permitted by that policy, such as qualifying security or legal needs.
• We do not sell Google data, use it for advertising, or transfer it for unrelated commercial purposes. Aggregating, anonymizing, or deriving new information from Google data does not remove these restrictions.
• We do not use Google Workspace data or its derivatives to train, fine-tune, or improve machine-learning models. This exclusion includes prompts, summaries, embeddings, assistant memory, logs, and recorded sequences of assistant actions (trajectories) containing or derived from that data. Mixed records containing Google-derived information are excluded too.
• Unrelated, independently sourced interaction data may be used for model improvement. This does not authorize use of Google-derived data merely because it appears in a conversation, output, or log.
• We do not permit people to read Google data except as allowed by the Limited Use policy, such as with your affirmative agreement to view specific data, for necessary security investigations, or to meet applicable legal obligations.

Processing task data to answer your request is distinct from using it to train a model. These commitments apply to our handling and permitted downstream use of Google-derived data.

Retention and security

We retain service data while it is needed to provide the service, maintain useful conversation context, resolve support issues, or meet narrow legal and security needs. Retention depends on the data’s purpose and the configured assistant; data is not kept indefinitely simply because you once connected an account.

Stored copies can include conversations, memory, logs, and backups. We use safeguards appropriate to the service, but no system or transmission method can guarantee security. Avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information.

Your access and deletion choices

Stop future access: revoke SilverTree Assistant’s connection through your Google account’s third-party connections. You can also stop using the bot or contact us for help. Revoking authorization stops future access through that authorization; it does not delete data already obtained.

Request deletion: email silvertreestudiosgh@gmail.com with the account or chat identity and assistant involved. Do not send passwords or access tokens. We handle requests manually and may ask for limited information to verify that you control the relevant account.

Within one month of verifying your request, we will delete the requested personal and Google-derived data from copies we control, including relevant conversations, assistant memory, logs, and backups, and arrange deletion with processors where applicable. If a narrow legal obligation or necessary security investigation requires retention of particular records, we will explain the affected categories, reason, and expected retention period unless legally prohibited. Retained exceptions are restricted to that purpose, not ordinary assistant use or model training.

We cannot erase copies independently saved by other conversation participants or records controlled independently by chat platforms. We will explain these limits and the relevant provider request process where applicable. Contact us with requests to access or correct information, or questions about other rights available under applicable law.

Visiting this website

These public pages do not add analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies. They load a stylesheet from jsDelivr, whose service receives connection information such as your IP address and browser metadata. Cloudflare, the site’s hosting provider, may process request metadata and hosting or security logs. The site remains readable if the stylesheet is unavailable.

Changes and questions

We will update this page when our practices change. For material changes, we will notify affected users through the service or another appropriate channel. If a new use of Google data requires consent, we will obtain it before making that new use.
